Founded by Miles Cleret in London in 2001, the label Soundway specialises in rarities and exclusive re-releases. Compilations like "Kenya Special", "Ghana Soundz" or "The Sound Of Siam", compiled with love and knowledge, regularly drive the tears of joy into the eyes of connoisseurs of exotic dance music from all over the world. Not least because the original publications, if they are available at all, are traded for expensive money.


The same applies to the anthology "Doing It In Lagos". It bundles extremely rare and hard to find dancefloor numbers that brought the Nigerian clubs of the early 1980s to the boil. Even Afro insiders are unlikely to have them on the radar and they are absolutely unique in this compilation. Comprehensive liner notes round off the piece of jewellery.
