With '12', the legendary Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto delivers his first non-soundtrack studio album under his own name in more than five years.

Written during his lengthy treatment for cancer during 2021 and 2022, each track title refers to the date of its composition, and it scans as a moving audio diary of recovery. Sadly, Ryuichi Sakamoto passed away in 2023 but his music and art will live on forever.
