From admiration to collaboration, The Songs of Bacharach & Costello, compiled by Costello himself, is his homage to his work with Burt Bacharach, bringing together the published songs that Costello has written with Burt Bacharach and celebrating the three-decade songwriting partnership between them.

The 2LP set features the album Painted From Memory plus 6 selections from Taken From Life – the stage score of Painted From Memory, 3 of which are newly recorded Bacharach & Costello songs. LPs are pressed on 140g weight vinyl and audio is remastered by Bob Ludwig from the analog tapes.
